Player experience is something PartyPoker Ontario takes deadly serious. We want each and every one of our loyal players to have a first-class experience each time they choose to play with us. Giving you more flexibility in the games you play is one way of improving that all-important player experience.

You may have noticed that we have recently introduced Tournaments Dollars (T$) to the PartyPoker Ontario client. Are you sat wondering what they are? Well, wonder no more because the PartyPoker Ontario Blog is here to shed some light with all the juicy details.

Tournament Dollars are a flexible currency available online at PartyPoker Ontario. As their name suggests, tournament dollars are used to enter any form of real money poker tournament at PartyPoker. Those tournaments include Sit & Go, multi-table tournaments, and our jackpot sit & go offering that we lovingly call SPINS.

Like Tournament Tickets Only Better!

Previously, we would offer tournament tickets to players via various promotions or through our wide range of satellites. Although tournament tickets still have a legitimate place in the online poker world, they were, by their very nature, restrictive when it comes to using them.

For example, if you won a $100 tournament ticket, it could only be used to enter a multi-table tournament costing exactly $100. That is great if you want to play in a $100 buy-in event, but having tournament dollars instead allows you more flexibility and choice.

You can spend tournament dollars to enter any real money tournament running online at PartyPoker Ontario. Use them to enter an upcoming MTT if you wish, or take a shot at hitting the jackpot in our SPINS.

Furthermore, you do not have to spend your entire tournament dollars balance in one go. For example, you may win $100 tournament dollars and fancy playing several games. You could use T$ to buy into ten $10 games, or even 50 $2 buy-in tournaments. It really is up to you!

It is even possible to put your tournament dollars towards the buy-in of an event of your choosing. You may have a tournament dollar balance of T$100 but want to play in a $162 buy-in event. You can use your T$100 and add $62 from your account balance!

Use Tournament Dollars for Cash Games and fastforward

Although they are called tournament dollars, you can use this amazing currency to buy into any of our real money cash games, including fastforward tables. Buy into a cash game or into the fastforward pool with tournament dollars, and they will be converted into cash when you leave the table, if those tournament dollars have been invested into the pot. Any uninvested tournament dollars are returned as T$.
