The PartyPoker Ontario KO Week is done and dusted, with every event crowning its champion. The last of those tournaments was none other than the $20,000 guaranteed KO Week Main Event, and “HYRLRNIN” is the PartyPoker Ontario player who walked away with top honors and a cool $3,765 to show for their efforts.
The KO Week Main Event saw 361 players enter over the course of several starting flights. Of those 361 starters, only 51 managed to progress to Day 2, each doing so with at least $76.65 from the main prize pool plus any bounties they had collected along the way.
That prize money increased to a minimum of $212 by the time the nine-handed final table was set, with the top three finishers each locking in more than $1,600!

| 1 | HYRLRNIN | $2,119 | $1,646 | $3,765 |
| 2 | SuperNuts88 | $221 | $1,643 | $1,864 |
| 3 | aurum | $298 | $1,106 | $1,404 |
| 4 | grishznin121 | $225 | $730 | $955 |

| 6 | chammy17 | $306 | $412 | $718 |
| 7 | SitttingOut | $114 | $313 | $427 |
| 8 | olymin | $206 | $257 | $463 |
| 9 | Deefnbaker | $320 | $212 | $532 |
“Deefnbaker” was the first of the nine finalists to bust. Ninth place came with a total prize worth $532, which was more than the money collected by seventh and eighth place thanks to the progressive bounty element of the KO Week Main Event. “Deefnbaker” banked $320 worth of bounties plus $212 in prize money.
Eighth place and $463 went to “olymin” before “SitttingOut” was permanently sitting on the rail after crashing out in seventh, a finish good for $427.
With only six players remaining, the action heated up, with each Ontarian increasing their aggression in order to accumulate chips. Maybe it was too much aggression on the part of “chammy17” because they came unstuck in sixth and had to make do with a $718 payout.
Then came the elimination of “chris777444” in fifth. They saw their PartyPoker Ontario account balance increase by $613.
Fourth-place and $955 went to “grishznin121,” narrowly missing out on a four-figure prize. We are sure “grishznin121” will be in the mix for more big scores after this impressive performance.
Final Three Grinders Guaranteed Four-Figure Scores!
Any of the final three players would have made a worthy champion, but the very nature of tournament poker means that only one can earn that title. “aurum” was the penultimate bust-out, falling agonizingly short of glory. However, the $1,404 they scooped should go some way to numbing the pain of finishing in third.
“HYRLRNIN” found themselves heads-up against “SuperNuts88” in a one-on-one battle for all of the glory. Both players secured at least $1,643 from the main prize pool, leaving the final bounties up for grabs. Of course, the eventual champion not only claims the second-place finisher’s bounty but the bounty on their head, too.
Eventually, after an intense battle, it was “SuperNuts88” who crashed out in second place, adding $221 worth of scalps to their $1,643 payout, for a total payday weighing in at $1,864. Thanks, in part, to a mightily impressive $2,119 from the bounty prize pool, “HYRLRNIN” saw their PartyPoker Ontario account balance swell by $3,765, giving them plenty of ammunition for our Daily Legends tournaments and any future online poker festivals. Congratulations!
