Event #03-HR was a No-Limit Hold’em 6-Max affair that saw 49 PartyPoker players buy in for $530 and create a $24,500 prize pool. Each of the seven players that reached the final table locked in prizes of more than $1,300.

“Yormomishot” was the first finalist to collect some prize money, their seventh-place finish coming with $1,341. The list of eliminated players continued growing with the exits of “VisTesReves” ($1,511), “Anonymous11” ($1,747), and “Phenom7” ($2,259).

The pay jumps were now substantial, and nobody would have cared had the final three players struck a deal to lessen those jumps. However, the last standing trio soldiered on and completed the high-stakes event as originally intended.

“balugasGood” crashed by the wayside in third ($3,130), leaving “Sucra71” and “Harpazo” to lock horns for the lion’s share of the prize pool. An intense battle followed and, once the dust had settled, “Sucra71” emerged victoriously and with the $7,380 top prize in tow. The runner-up turned their $530 into $4,644.

The $109 buy-in event has a whopping $50,000 guaranteed, but there are only a handful of Day 1s remaining before Day 2 commences on January 24. The Main Event is a PKO tournament, meaning you can win plenty of money at PartyPoker Ontario even if you do not reach Day 2 where the main prize pool is awarded.

Three other players, so far, return to the action armed with seven-figure stacks. “Captain_Verma” (1,491,178), “TDG13” (1,159,319), and “CatLover108” (1,091,846) ae that deep-stacked trio. Each has secured between $131 and $269 worth of bounties already, so are freerolling towards one of the Main Event’s largest prizes.
